I felicitate my old friend Krishnaswamy… from day one he had an objective before him… He did not go into Film-making for money-making; he made those films which are historically important and culturally significant, leaving a message for the nation.

We need Indians to write History through an Indian perception, and his contribution in particular in South East Asia would merit in my opinion, the “Bharat Ratna”.
