VEDIC-GPS (2020) deals with the centuries old Vedic discipline of Vedic Astrology. Commissioned by Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Ministry of Culture, written and Directed by Latha Krishna, the film won the ‘Best Research’ Award at the Hermetic International Film Festival, Venice.

ANCIENT FUTURE (2016)’ explores the ancient Indian science of ‘Vasthu Shastra’ drawing a parallel to Geobiology which is a study of the interactions between the physical Earth and the biosphere. Funded by Akash Foundation, Pondicherry, written and Directed by Latha Krishna, the film was shown in several international conferences on the subject.

WHEN THE GODS DANCE (part-2) (2009) – 13-episode serial on Indian dance forms which gives a kaleidoscopic view of the major classical and folk dance forms of India featuring over 200 star dancers from across the country. It includes Bharata Natyam, Kathak, Manipuri, Odissi, Chau, Kuchipudi, Mohini Attam, Andhra Natyam, besides folk dances of Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Nagaland, Manipur, Bihar, Karnataka and Tamilnadu.

WHEN THE GODS DANCE (part-1) (2001) – 20 episodes featuring 50 star classical dancers under one cohesive serial. Celebrities such as Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, the Kalakshetra Group, the Dhananjayans, the Narasimhacharis, Chitra Visweswaran, Anita Ratnam, Alarmel Valli, Leela Samson, Malavika Sarukkai, Radha, as well as several groups have participated in the serial. With photography by Award Winning Cinematographer, Madhu Ambat, the serial has been edited and directed by the well-known dancing duo, LATHA & GITA, who have also performed in the serial. An abridged version won the CREATIVE EXCELLENCE AWARD at the US International Film & Video Festival.

SAVITRI (1994) – Two part Tamil dance-drama, winner of CERTIFICATE FOR CREATIVE EXCELLENCE Award at the 28th US International Film & Video Festival, Illinois, in 1995. Based on the internationally acclaimed English classic written by the Indian mystic Sri Aurobindo, the Tamil lyrics are written by Dr . S . Krishnaswamy and set to music by Shyam Joseph, choreographed and performed by Latha & Gita.
