2018 Latha Krishna received ‘Cannes Corporate Media and TV Award’ for her film ‘A Different Language’

2017 The Silambu Chelvar Ma. Po. Si. Trust honoured the Krishnaswamy couple, with their Dr. Ma. Po. Si. Award.

2009 The President of India, H. E. Ms. Pratibha Patel conferred the coveted PADMA SHRI Award on Dr. S. Krishnaswamy. For those unfamiliar with Indian awards, this is one of the four highest civilian awards conferred by the President.

2006 Dr. S. Krishnaswamy received the MOTHER TERESA EXCELLENCE AWARD conferred by New Delhi based ‘Front for National Progress’ for his professional excellence combined with commitment to social progress.

1987 HONOR SUMMUS AWARD conferred by the Watumull Foundation, Honolulu on Dr. S. Krishnaswamy, “for his film making with a sense of social commitment combining technical skill and creative finesse”.

1975 SPECIAL NATIONAL AWARD for the Best Short Film produced in the first 25 years since Indian Independence - I - a 16-minute experimental film exploring the Indian identity.

1968NATIONAL AWARD for Best short film, “THE BROWN DIAMOND” - A 20-minute film on Neyveli lignite mine.
